Does getting a 3D scan hurt?

There is no injection, no contact with your teeth, and no discomfort whatsoever. The entire imaging appointment typically takes less than 10 minutes.

The actual scan takes only 10–20 seconds. Including setup and positioning, the entire imaging process is usually completed in under 10 minutes. The 3D images are available for your surgeon to review immediately, so they can be discussed with you at the same appointment.
