Jack W. Pool, D.D.S.

Dr. Jack W. Pool has been associated with San Antonio Surgical Arts since 1978. He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Trinity University and a Degree in Dentistry from the University of Texas Health Science Center of San Antonio. He completed his postgraduate training at the University of Texas Health Science Center of San Antonio and successfully completed his residency requirements for oral and maxillofacial surgery at the Bexar County Hospital District. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.

Dr. Pool served as a clinical professor in the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center of San Antonio for numerous years. He is a member of multiple professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, the American College of Dentists, the Texas Dental Association, the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Foundation, and the San Antonio District Dental Society where he has held numerous leadership positions. He is a member of the Southwest Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and has served as President of that organization. He has also served as the Executive Director for the Texas Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and currently maintains membership in the organization. He is a Life Member and Past President of the University of Texas Dental School at San Antonio Alumni Association.

Throughout his professional career, Dr. Pool has successfully managed to create a balance between his work, his church, and community.
