LaVan R. Parker, III, D.D.S.

Dr. LaVan R. Parker, III, is a native of Austin, Texas, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology at the University of Texas. In 1994, Dr. Parker earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas. After completing a General Practice Residency at the Veteran's Affairs Hospital in San Antonio, Texas, Dr. Parker accepted a teaching fellowship in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Baylor College of Dentistry and Baylor University Medical Center. In 1998, he began his postgraduate training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Baylor College of Dentistry and his hospital residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. Dr. Parker is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Dr. Parker has been featured as a presenter at numerous dental and oral surgery conferences and in-service presentations in the Southwest.

Dr. Parker is involved in numerous local, state and national professional associations, including the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Texas Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Southwest Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Baylor Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Alumni Association, the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the River District Dental Society.
